Children of Ikot Offiong to Return to Classrooms After 23 Years

The newly elected Obong of Calabar, Etubom Anthony Ani, has unveiled a promising solution to their education crisis.

Obong Anthony Ani, a former minister of finance during the late General Abacha’s administration, has pledged to spearhead the rebuilding efforts of both primary and secondary schools in the afflicted region. Addressing the issue during a recent press conference, the Obong explained that he was motivated to embark on this initiative after a delegation from Ikot Offiong raised concerns about the dire situation faced by their community.
