Artisan Development Will Be My Major Priority- Chinwendu

The People’s Democratic Party (PDP) candidate for Isiala Ngwa South State Constituency in the forth coming polls,Hon Rowland Dennis Chinwendu (Ceaser), has promised to open a new vista for artisans in the area, saying that their development will be his major priority.

Unveiling his manifesto,as well as flagging off his campaign ahead of the 2023 General elections,at the Umuagu Community Primary School Field,Omoba in Isiala Ngwa South Local Government Area of Abia State,Hon Rowland Dennis Chinwendu, said he would be making  the welfare and development of Artisans his priority, through what he called “Artisans Initiative”.
Expounding the Initiative further, Chinwendu said the ‘Artisans Initiative’, is simply an umbrella, where all artisans in the area would come under to access executive grant,for the purpose of expanding their businesses and as well, encouraging them stay in business.

 

According to him, farmers, traders,hair dressers, fashion designers and other artisans in Isiala Ngwa South, can access fund to grow their businesses, thereby eradicating poverty, which would in turn reduce criminal activities.

He said he is going to the Abia state House of Assembly to consolidate and sustain  what he has been doing for his people for the past years.

 

According to him,if he could carry out free medical outreach, register students for Jamb, founded the widow’s initiative in Isiala Ngwa South since 2018,where he takes care of the widows, as well as, improve on the livelihood of the people, without holding power,then more should be expected when he wins.
However,Hon Rowland Dennis Chinwendu promised to maintain a cordial relationship with the Executive,so that his constituency will not lose out on the dividend of democracy.
He stated that he is going to Umuahia not to make troubles but to represent his constituents well, promising to make laws that would centre on the wellbeing of his people.
Meanwhile,the PDP candidate vowed to deliver his party hundred percent (100%) come 2023, describing himself as a grassroot politician, that knows and understands the yearnings of his people, which gives him an edge over others.
He further stated that the PDP would record a landslide victory in Isiala Ngwa South,as there is no presence of the opposition in the area.
In an interview, the Director General of Ugwumba Campaign Council, Engr Chima Uwaoma, described Hon Rowland Dennis Chinwendu (Ceaser), as a good product that can sell itself, stating that part of the reason he accepted to be his campaign director.
Engr Chima Uwaoma noted that the Ugwumba Campaign Council, has been working tirelessly since after the Primaries, moving from village to village,ward to ward,door to door,to ensure the party records victory come 2023, adding that they have covered over 90% of the villages in Isiala Ngwa South, stating that the People’s acceptability of PDP in the area, was glaring, which according to him,further reflected the massive turnout of people who came to witness  the Ugwumba campaign flag off.
Also, the Councillor representing Amaise Amaise in Isiala Ngwa South Legislative Council,Hon Mrs Love Onyebuchi, added that with the massive support witnessed from the people of Isiala Ngwa South, “No doubt PDP will take the day come 2023”.
She further called for more support from the women.

Present at the flag off were PDP state working committee,led by the Abia Chairman,Rt Hon Asiforo Okere, the PDP candidate for Abia Central senatorial district,Col Austin Akobundu rtd, the candidate for Isiala Ngwa North/South federal Constituency, Prof A.C.B Agbazuere, the  Abia House of Assembly candidate for Uhie Constituency,Elder Erondu Jnr, among other top political gladiators that  graced the event
