Lawmaker Advises the Church, Parents on Moral Upbringing of Children

The Minority Whip and member representing Arochukwu State Constituency in the Abia House of Assembly, Hon. Mike Ukoha, has charged the Church, and Parents never to relent in the good upbringing of their Children, saying that such will make them to be good citizens in future.

The Lawmaker, who gave the advise, during this year’s Children’s Day Church service, at All Saints Presbyterian Church, Amuru Abam, on Sunday, 31st May, 2020, further explained that proper upbringing of our Children, will make them to be good Leaders of tomorrow.

He expressed delight in the performance of the Children during the Church service and urged them to keep it up.

The Minority Whip, used the medium, to thank the Men’s Christian Association (MCA), of the Church for honoring him with an Award as a ”Pillar of Encouragement”, during their Day, sometime last year.

Hon. Dr. Ukoha, also thanked the Church for their ongoing project, noting that as they are building the House of God, so will God uplift their various homes.

He used the opportunity, to donate handsomely towards the Church project.

Speaking at the Church service, the Parish Priest, Rev. Kalu Ukpai, thanked the Lawmaker, for identifying with them.

He described him as a humble man, who loves God and things of God and prayed God to continue to give him the wisdom to represent his people well.
