The All Progressives Grand Alliance (APGA), candidate for Ikwuano/Umuahia Federal Constituency in the 2023 polls,Chief Ogbonna Abarikwu,has concluded his “Thank You” tour across the Ikwuano/Umuahia Federal Constituency.
The Thank You tour which started few days ago,was basically to appreciate APGA stakeholders that voted him to victory during the party’s primary election.

Interacting with Umuahia North Stakeholders at the APGA party office,Umuahia,Chief Abarikwu,noted that his intention of going into the Federal House is to serve his people better.
According to him, he would run a system that would involve everyone, adding that he is going into partnership with the people, where they could be major contributors in governance and policy making.
Abarikwu further disclosed that he would not leave anyone behind,just as the party’s slogan rightly stated, adding that he would carry everyone along irrespective of party affiliations.
The APGA candidate, however, informed the Local Government and Ward Executive of the party, to expect a robust representation when he wins, stating that since nobody is sponsoring him in the race, no one can demand for constituency funds to be shared.
“As it is, nobody is sponsoring me.I came into the race myself,hence nobody can demand for any fund met for constituency projects to be shared”.
He, however, advised Ikwuano/Umuahia constituents to shun money politics and vote in individuals with experience, integrity, capacity and as well, individuals that are visionary and ready to serve.
Responding, the Umuahia North APGA chairman, Hon Ikenna Nwachukwu, Mr Ofoegbu Chima,High Chief Sunday Ohaeri and the LGA Woman leader,Mrs Ironwa Chinyere, pledged their full support to Ogbonna Abarikwu, stating that they would do all they can to deliver their units for APGA, appealing that Engr Abarikwu not to forget their efforts when he is elected.
