Otti Urges Faith and Perseverance at MFM Regional Headquarters’ 8th Anniversary Celebration

The Governor of Abia State, Dr. Alex Otti, OFR, and his wife, Mrs. Priscilla Otti, joined worshippers to celebrate the eighth anniversary of Pastor Olugbenga Aremu’s divine assignment as Regional Overseer of the South-East VI Regional Headquarters of Mountain of Fire and Miracle Ministries (MFM), Amuzukwu, Umuahia.

The Governor’s arrival was warmly received by the congregation, who applauded and expressed joy at hosting him during the special thanksgiving service.

In his address, Governor Otti encouraged members to remain strong in their faith. He said that delays in receiving answers to prayers should not weaken their trust in God. Sharing his personal journey to leadership, he explained that despite many challenges, he remained determined and focused until he fulfilled his mandate.

Describing himself as a God-fearing leader, the Governor reaffirmed his administration’s commitment to restoring the dignity and progress of Abia State. He stressed that both indigenes and non-indigenes would benefit from his government’s policies. He also noted that many non-indigenes are already contributing positively to the state’s workforce under his leadership. He ended his speech by praying for God’s continued blessings upon the people.

In his sermon titled “The Mystery of Divine Mission,” Pastor Aremu, preaching from the book of Jeremiah 1:4–5, described divine mission as God’s special call upon a person’s life. He explained that every individual is created for a purpose even before birth and must discover that purpose to fulfill destiny.

He added that living a holy and righteous life positions believers for God’s empowerment and protection. According to him, no opposition can succeed against a mission that is aligned with God’s will. He urged leaders to pursue their vision with integrity, emphasizing that true leadership is about service, impact, and legacy—not personal glory.

The celebration also included special prayers for the Governor and the presentation of awards of excellence to deserving church members in recognition of their contributions to the growth of the ministry.
