As Abia State celebrates its 34th anniversary Abians residing in Abuja and members of the Abia diaspora across the world have poured out commendations for Governor Alex Otti, hailing his administration as one of the most impactful in the state’s history.

Abians speaking to Abuja Disgest as Abia marks 34 years , both Igbo and non-Igbo residents united to applaud Governor Otti’s strides in education, infrastructure renewal, sanitation, and commercial revival across the 17 Local Government Areas of Abia.

Speaking Mrs. Margaret Chigozie Mkpuma President and founder Noble Ladies Association International, based in Abuja, praised the Governor for “bringing Abia back to life,” especially in transforming the education sector by rebuilding primary and secondary schools across the state. She described his administration as “a shining example for other states to emulate.”

According to her, Governor Otti has rebuilt and equipped primary and secondary schools across the 17 Local Government Areas, ensuring that children learn in safe, modern environments. “The Governor understands that education is the bedrock of development, and he has shown this through action,” she stated.

She also applauded the reconstruction of key roads and market Malls in Aba, describing it as a major boost to local commerce and business confidence. “Aba is coming alive again; our traders and manufacturers are beginning to thrive,” she added.
