Delivering a sermon at the event, Dr. Preye Oarhe encouraged the people of Rivers State to maintain their trust in God, assuring them that divine purpose will prevail despite adversity. Drawing on the biblical story of Joseph, she reminded the congregation that trials often precede triumph.

Attendees clarified that the prayer session was not in observance of Democracy Day, but part of their regular monthly prayer and fasting program, which has continued despite the recent state of emergency declared in the state.

The women expressed hope that through persistent prayers, democratic governance will be fully restored in Rivers State, paving the way for lasting peace and development.
