Easter: Remain Resilient, Pray for Nigeria – Ex-Ukwa-East Council Boss, Wabara Urges Christians

As Christians around the world celebrate Easter, the former Chairman, Ukwa-East Local Government Area (LGA), Abia State, Hon. Chuks Wabara, has called on Nigerians, particularly the Christian faithful, to remain steadfast and resilient in the face of the numerous challenges confronting the nation.

In a statement released by his Media Office and made available to the press, Hon. Wabara extended warm Easter greetings to the people of Abia State, Nigerians at large, and Christians across the globe. He emphasized the need for collective faith, unity, and unwavering hope during these trying times.

“The message of Easter is one of hope, sacrifice, and resurrection. It is a time that reminds us that even in our darkest moments, light and renewal are possible. As a nation, we are going through difficult and uncertain times, but I urge every Christian to remain resilient and prayerful. Let us not lose faith in the promise of a better Nigeria,” he said.

Hon. Wabara, a respected technocrat and community leader from Ndoki, described the current economic and social challenges as surmountable, provided the citizens remain united and continue to trust in God. He also urged leaders at all levels to rededicate themselves to the service of the people and embrace values that foster growth, peace, and national cohesion.

While felicitating with the people of Ukwa-East and Abia State, Wabara prayed for a peaceful and joyous Easter celebration, encouraging all to emulate the virtues of Jesus Christ—love, sacrifice, and compassion—as they celebrate.

“As we mark this holy season, let us reflect on the significance of Easter and its call to selflessness, renewal, and unwavering belief in the power of God to transform lives and nations,” he stated.
