Invisible Politician from Igbere Behind News That Deputy Speaker Kalu is Running For Governor in 2027 — Chief Trumps Eke

Chief Emma Trumps Eke, the Federal Commissioner representing Abia State at the National Population Commission, has dismissed rumors that the Deputy Speaker of the House of Representatives, Rt. Hon. Benjamin Kalu, is planning to run for governor of Abia State in 2027. He described the claims, circulating on an obscure blog, as baseless and politically motivated.

Chief Eke in a recent interview, accused an unnamed “invisible politician” from Igbere of orchestrating the rumors to promote his younger brother’s candidacy for the Bende Federal Constituency seat. He clarified that Rt. Hon. Kalu is focused on strengthening the APC and working to deliver results for the party and the President, rather than pursuing personal political ambitions at this time.
