Abia Traditional Rulers Praise Gov Otti for ₦250,000 Monthly Stipend and Special Christmas Package

The Abia State Council of Traditional Rulers has congratulated Governor Alex Chioma Otti on approving a new monthly stipend of Two Hundred and Fifty Thousand Naira (N250,000) for traditional rulers in the state, starting from December 2024.

Recall that the Governor recently approved a new monthly stipend of N250,000 for traditional rulers in the state, with those in Aba South receiving an amount different from others.

In a release endorsed on behalf of the traditional rulers in the state, the Chairman of the Council, Eze Linus Nto Mbah, commended the Governor for approving a special Christmas package of N150,000 for each traditional ruler in the state.

Eze Mbah praised the Governor’s unprecedented support for the traditional institution and his friendly disposition towards traditional rulers in the state.

He noted that no previous administration in the state had accorded such honor and recognition to traditional rulers.

Eze Mbah prayed for God to grant the Governor good health, wisdom, and abundant resources in his efforts to build a new and prosperous Abia State.

He further assured the Governor of the Council’s commitment to maintaining peace and tranquility across the state, pledging their support in addressing criminal activities within their domains.
