Arsenal completed an incredible week which saw them score 13 goals with a comprehensive 5-2 victory over West Ham at the London Stadium.

Recall that the Gunners gunned down Nottingham Forest 3-0 on Saturday before they defeated Sporting 5-1 in the UEFA Champions League on Tuesday.

This victory, which was made possible by goals from Gabriel Magalhaes, Leandro Trossard, Martin Odegaard, Kai Havertz and Bukayo Saka, has taken Arsenal to second place on the table until table toppers, Liverpool host Manchester City tomorrow.

The Gunners were leading 4-0 at some point before Aaron Wan-Bissaka and Emerson scored for the home side to make the score line respectable.

In other results, Brentford stung Leicester City 4-1 as Crystal Palace forced Newcastle United to a 1-1 draw.

Nottingham Forests piped Ipswich Town 1-0 while Wolves were tamed 2-4 by Bournemouth.
