The Acting State Head of Service, Lady Joy Maduka has reaffirmed the present Administration’s commitment in repositioning and transforming the public and civil service in the state for effective and efficient service delivery.
Lady Joy Maduka who made this known during her familiarization visit to some of ministries, departments and agencies in the state, thanked the Governor,Dr Alex Otti for giving her the opportunity to serve and promised not to disappoint him.
The AG HOS who noted that Alex Otti is a special gift from God to turn things around in the state and civil service, disclosed that plans are on top gear to offset arrears of salaries and pension owed in the state, she therefore, called on Abia workforce to cue into Dr Otti’s reformation agenda towards taking Abia to an enviable height.
While, pointing out that the foundation of the present administration is built on truth, transparency and integrity, which according to her gives no room for any kind of indiscipline, urged all civil servants in the state to corporate and support the Government, even as they make honesty, diligence and accountability their watch word
In their separate speeches, the AG Permanent Secretary, Ministry of Finance, Mr Chidozie Ume and a director of Epidermisogy in Ministry of Agriculture,Dr Onu Nwokedi thanked the Governor,Dr Alex Otti for the appointment of Lady Joy Maduka as the State AG HOS and promised to work with the Government for a better Abia.
