The Golden Eaglets’ dream of playing in the finals of the on-going U-17 African Cup of Nations, were shattered this afternoon by their Guinean counterparts.
After 90 minutes of an intriguing encounter, the scores stood at goalless.
The game went into penalties and the Golden Eaglets lost 9-10 to Guinea.
The second semi-final is on-going between Angola and Cameroon. Neither side has scored so far.
Nigeria will now face the loser of this encounter in the third place match while Guinea will meet the winner in the final.
