Nigeria and Ghana played out a goalless draw in the first leg of their Qatar 2022 World Cup Playoffs at the Baba Yara Sports Stadium in Kumasi, Ghana.
The physical encounter saw the Ghanaians dominate the first half without much threat on goal.
The Super Eagles did better in the second half, stringing passes together and making more purposeful attacking moves.
But the most anxious moment was when penalty was given against Idrissu Baba for handball in the Ghana area – but subsequently the referee looked at the replay and seems to have decided that Idrissu was fouled in the build-up.
