World Cup Playoff: Ghana Release Squad List At Last

The Black Stars of Ghana have finally released their squad for the two legged playoff against the Super Eagles of Nigeria for a place in the 2022 FIFA World Cup.

The list released by Ghana’s interim coach Otto Addo includes the following players’ Goal keepers: Joseph Wollacott, Abdul Manaf Nurudeen, Richard Ofori and Lawrence Ati Zigi.

Andy Yiadom, Dennis Korsah, Gideon Mensah, Daniel Amartey, Alexander Djiku, Joseph Aidoo, Dennis Odoi, Abdul Mumin and Muntari kamaheni are defenders.

The mid-fielders are Baba Iddrisau, Edmund Addo, Thomas Teye Partey, Mohammed Kudus, Daniel Kofi Kyere, Elisha Owusu.

The wingers comprise of Osman Bukari, Joseph Paintsil, Abdul Fatawu Issahaku, Christopher Antwi Adjei and Yaw Yeboah.

The strikers are Felix Afena Gyan, Kwasi Wriedt and Jordan Ayew, who has tested positive for Covid 19.

The first leg will take place at the Baba Yara Sports Stadium in Kumasi, Ghana on March 25th while the second leg will take place four days later at the Moshood Abiola Stadium in Abuja.
