Work to commence on Nsirimo ring road

Palliative work will soon commence on the Nsirimo ring road, in Ubakala Umuahia South LGA of Abia state.
This is as Governor Okezie Ikpeazu has made available substantial amount of money for the rehablitation of the road pending the time full construction work would be done on the road.
The Governor who made the provision following the request by the Nsirimo Amaise Leaders of Thought,during a courtesy visit at Government House Umuahia, said the gesture would help the people commence palliative work on the road pending the time full construction work would be done.
He stressed the need for development unions to partner government in bringing and sustaining developmental projects in their communities.
Governor Ikpeazu equally announced that in the next one week, the community would take delivery of 50 school desks to be used by the pulpils of their primary school.
He also directed that the PTA teachers engaged by Nsirimo community be absorbed by ASUBEB as government teachers adding that the attention given to the education sector by his administration has paid off so far as Abia has maintained the lead in public examinations, having taken first position in WAEC for three consecutive years.
 He thanked the Nsirimo leaders of thought for appreciating his efforts in bringing democracy dividends to the people at the grassroots.
Earlier, the leader of the delegation, Chief Peter Asagwara said the delegation came to appreciate the Governor for his giant strides in  the State and appointment of their indugenes into various positions in the state and pledged the support of the Nsirimo people to the re-election bidof Governor Ikpeazu in 2019.
Also speaking, the Traditional ruler of the community Eze Adolphus Ugwunna and Secretary General Nsirimo Amaise Development Union Mr Kenneth Chikwendu drew the Governor’s attention to the poor road network of Nsirimo ring road , which they requested that a palliative measure be taken in the interim.
They also requested the Governor to absorb  PTA engaged teachers in their primary school and assist in procuring school  desks for the pulpils.
