Super Falcons of Nigeria will later today confront Ivory Coast in the finals of the Women’s WAFU Cup at the Stade Robert Champroux in Abidjan.
To qualify for the final, the Super falcons defeated the defending champions, Ghana 4-2 on penalties while host Ivory Coast eliminated Mali 2-1.
Ghana and Mali will slug it out in the third place match.
If things go according to plan, the Super Falcons will come back to Nigeria on Sunday before the depart for Austria on Monday for their final preparations for the Women’s World Cup that will kick-off on June 7.
