The Living Faith Church a.k.a Winners Chapel,has assured Abians of continuous prayers and support for their well-being,even as the Church holds a two day medical outreach in Umuahia.
The outreach which will hold from the 26th – 27th of July at the Ofeke Community, Ahiaeke Ndume in Umuahia North Local Government Area, is targeted to bring Christ to people of that locality and environs.
In an interview with the Resident pastor of the church in Umuahia, who also doubles as the State pastor, Pst Aderemi Adekunle, said the church is using the two day medical outreach to preach the gospel of Christ to those who are not in church, making them know that Christ is all they need to have a sound health because Him alone is the healer, deliverer and saviour
According to him, the church do not have gold nor silver to give, but a medical outreach that would cut across the treatment of common sicknesses, counselling, free medical Test among others.
Revealing the theme of the outreach to be “Total Restoration”, the cleric said the church is praying hard for Jesus to touch the soul of men via the programme, stating that some people may be sick in the body, but alot of people are sick in the soul.
Pst Adekunle further disclosed that the church is praying for the light of God’s word to shine in the heart of everyone in the state, as that is the only guarantee for a safe society devoid of rancour, social vices,insurgencies,crime among others.
He,however encouraged Abians to avail themselves the opportunity of not only receiving medical care but also Christ into their lives.
