The Minister of the Federal Capital Territory (FCT), Nyesom Wike, has approved the reinstatement of the Mandate Secretary for Education, Dr. Danlami Hayyo, and the Acting Executive Chairman of the FCT Internal Revenue Service (FCT-IRS), Mr. Michael Ango.
The development was disclosed in a statement issued last ,,Wednesday, December 17, 2025, by the Senior Special Assistant to the Minister on Public Communication and Social Media, Mr. Lere Olayinka.
According to the statement, the Minister directed both officials to resume their duties with immediate effect.
Wike, however, cautioned that indiscipline would not be tolerated within the Federal Capital Territory Administration (FCTA), stressing the need for all officials to conduct themselves in line with established rules and standards of public service.
The reinstatement, the statement added, is part of ongoing efforts to ensure efficiency, accountability, and effective service delivery across key institutions of the FCTA.
