Abia State Deputy Governor, Engr Ikechukwu Emetu has expressed the commitment of Dr. Alex Otti’s led Government to fulfilling all that is enshrined in his manifesto to Abians and also place Abia on the roadmap of economic and socioeconomic advancement.
Engr. Emetu who disclosed this while addressing members of the New Abia Ministers Prayer Forum on a courtesy visit on him at Government House, Umuahia said they are not deterred at the undaunted challenges currently being experienced, but are however determined to change the ugly narratives of lack of development in every facet of governance in the State.
The Deputy Governor said Government will continue to work in close synergy with Churches in the State, pointing out that, having benefitted from the power and Grace of God, they cannot undermine the efficacy and importance of prayers from committed Ministers of God and implored them not to relent in upholding the present administration in prayers to enable them effect positive impacts in the State.
He commended the New Abia Ministers Forum for their efforts and sacrifices that ensured their overwhelming success at the polls and urged them to ensure the betterment of society through their spiritual teachings and remolding youths unto the part of righteousness.
n their remarks earlier, the leader of the delegation, The Rev Dr Jerry Nnabuihe who stated that their Forum was established solely for the restoration of Abia and enshrining of good governance and expressed delight that their concerted prayers manifested in Dr Alex Otti emergence as the Governor of the State, promising to sustain their prayers for the overall success of the present administration.
