We’ll continue to fight for rape, injustice against women, the girl child- FIDA

The Federation Of International Women Lawyer FIDA says it will continue to fight to ensure that cases of rape and injustice against women and the girl child are drastically reduced in the society.

Chairperson of FIDA in Rivers State Anthonia Osadebe made this known while speaking on the two recent judgement the organization secured in court.

She said one of the cases involved a 4 year old girl who was sexually abused by a 5 year old man.

While the second case was that of a widow whose son connived with their neighbour to depose her of her land.

The mother of the four year old girl, Blessing Ejiogu commended FIDA for standing by her to ensure that justice is served.

The Widow, Glady’s Innocent expressed happiness on the role that the Federation of International Women Lawyer FIDA played in ensuring that she recovered her land.
