The Deputy Governor of Abia State, Engr. Ikechukwu Emetu has assured the Nigerian Institute of Estate Surveyors and Valuers (NIESV) Abia State branch of Government’s commitment to supporting initiatives that promote Professional development and Economic growth in the State.
This is just as the Nigerian Institute of Estate Surveyors and Valuers (NIESV) Abia State branch has solicited the support of the State Government for their upcoming Conference scheduled for April 2026.
Receiving the team during their visit to him in Umuahia, the Deputy Governor expressed appreciation for the visit and He assured them that their request will be considered and necessary support provided to ensure the success of the Conference.
Speaking earlier the State branch Chairman of the Institute, Estate Surveyor and Valuer Uche Ikoro highlighted the significance of the Conference in promoting the Profession and contributing to the State’s economic development.They requested the Deputy Governor’s support in hosting the event which is expected to attract Professionals and Stakeholders from across the Country.
Adding his voice,the immediate past Chairman of the branch, Estate Surveyor and Valuer Augustine Uche Ibe emphasized the importance of government support in hosting successful Professional events like the 2026 Conference which will showcase Abia State’s attractiveness to investors and Professionals, stating that it will underscore the branch’s commitment to leveraging partnership for mutual benefit
The branch’s visit demonstrates their commitment to engaging with government Officials and promoting the interests of Estate Surveyors and Valuers in the State.
The Meeting also had the presence of the State Director of lands Estate Surveyor and Valuer Uduma Ndukwe and the branch Executives of the Institute including the Secretary ESV Kelechi Ikpai Uduma and Publicity Secretary ESV Onyemuru Ekeoma Godson.
