Wabara’s Controversial Comment On Abia Guber Zoning: Ukwa East LG Boss Denies Him

The Executive Chairman of Ukwa East Local Government Area, Hon. Chuks Wabara, has distanced himself from the controversial comment accredited to his elder brother, Senator Adolphus Wabara, where the later said that PDP will loose Abia gubernatorial election if an Ngwa man become the party flag bearer in the 2023 general election,

Speaking to journalists today, 22 March, 2022, the Ukwa East council Boss stated that whatever decision his elder brother took was solely his.

He further noted that he was never consulted and neither is he party to whatever formed the decision and statement. He added that he saw the news about the statement just the same way every other Abia citizens did.

The LG Chairman clearly stated that his commitment and loyalty is with the State Governor, Dr. Okezie Ikpeazu, who he said is his boss and leader of his party, the People’s Democratic Party. He insisted that he will not compromise his standard.

His words, “I was not privy to the information, neither was I consulted. I am not part of my brother’s decision, as it was his sole decision. I stand with the State Governor, Dr. Okezie Ikpeazu, my leader and my boss and will follow wherever he leads.
