In a bid to alleviate the economic hardship faced by Nigerians, the founder of Victoria Ezi Nwosu Charity Foundation, has made a generous donation to Agape Charity Home in Ubakala, Umuahia South Local Government Area of Abia State.
The charitable gesture is aimed to provide essential relief to vulnerable individuals, groups and communities during these challenging economic times.
Seeing the dire effects of the economy on individuals, the founder of the foundation, Ogbonnaya Nwosu, chose to make a positive impact by sharing love, care, and support with the orphanage, in lovely memory of the late mother.
The Victoria Ezi Nwosu Foundation was founded by Ogbonnaya Nwosu in tribute to his mother, who embodied love and compassion. The foundation aims to perpetuate her legacy of touching lives by supporting the less privileged, widows, and the downtrodden, inspiring hope and transforming lives.
Speaking while presenting the donation of essential food and household items of cartons of noodles, groundnut oil,bag of rice, cartons of biscuits, packs of yogurt drinks, water and personal care items, such as tissue paper, pampers, and others, the leader of the delegation, Hon Ifeanyi Umere, reiterated the basis behind the formation of the foundation which he said was basically to replicate what late Mrs Victoria Nwosu represented.
Umere stated that the philanthropic effort demonstrated the foundation’s commitment to supporting those in need, adding that the founder was inspired by compassion to reach out to the Agape Charity Home with essential support amidst the economic challenges.
He said the Agape Charity Home was lucky to be the first to receive the gesture of the Victoria Ezi Nwosu Foundation, stating that the foundation would continue to stretch their hand of support as time goes on, urging the matron of the Home not to relent in nurturing and raising the children in love.
Representing the Matron of the Home, Miss Ihuoma Okonkwo, expressed gratitude to members of the Victoria Ezi Nwosu Foundation for choosing the Agape Charity Home as their first point of call in their humanitarian gesture and prayed God to replenish and protect the foundation and as well, the members.
