All Saints Anglican Church, World Bank, Umuahia, Abia State, was agog as Dr. Chiagozie Cliff Onwukwe, took his spouse Barrister Chidiebube Precious Alioha, to the altar. Speaking during the holy solemnization church service, the officiating minister Venerable Dan Kanu, described marriage as the most valuable concept to be enjoyed not managed. He enjoined the couple to value and cherish one another stressing that none should see himself or herself superior to another. The cleric drew the attention of the couple to Peter’s laid down principles on marriage and at the same vein reiterated that wives should submit to their husbands as they are the head while husbands should love, care and cherish their wives and submit to God as the head of the church and marriage adding that it moves in triangular chain and none should violate the order. Venerable Dan Kanu further charged the congregation especially parents to help build their children morally and equally appealed to those whose marriage is not juicy as it was from beginning to go home and put their union in order learning from Peter’s injunction on marriage as this would help couples at the verge of divorce to have a change of mind. Responding in an interview with newsmen, the couple Dr. Cliff Chiagozie Onwukwe and the spouse Barr. Chidiebube Precious Alioha expressed joy and happiness and equally thanked the large crowd who came from far and near to witness their solemnization. Highlights of the event were signing of marriage certificate by the couple, cutting of cake, photograph, dance by the couple with dignitaries and invitees among others.
