An aspirant for the Ukwa East State Constituency in the Abia State House of Assembly, Dr. Chidi Nwankpa, has pledged to work for the general interest of the people of Ukwa East at all times if he is elected as member of the House.
He said that the interest of Ukwa East State constituents would be paramount and protected with zero commitment to any selfish interests.
In his statement of purpose made available online, Dr. Nwankpa, who is a Fellow and Member of the Governing Council of the National Institute of Marketing of Nigeria, said:
“I will initiate, lobby and sponsor Bills that will impact positively on the lives of the greater masses of Ukwa East State Constituency; bearing in mind that the interest of Ukwa East State Constituents must be paramount and protected at all times with Zero commitment to any selfish interests.
“I will strive to attract sustainable and viable Constituency Projects for the overall benefits and interests of Ndoki People and Ukwa East State Constituency.
“Over all, my tenure and representation of the good people of Ndoki and Ukwa East in Abia State House of Assembly shall ultimately be anchored on the principles of Accountability, People Oriented Projects and Global Legislative Best Practices.”
