Ukpai lauds Gov Ikpeazu on security, infrastructure, others in Abia

The Deputy Chief of staff, office of the Governor of Abia state, Chief Ukpai Agwu Ukpai, has lauded the Abia state governor, Dr. Okezie Victor Ikpeazu on peace and security in the state.

Chief Ukpai who stated this while speaking with newsmen in Umuahia described Abia state under Gov. Ikpeazu’s leadership as stable and almost crime-free, adding that Abia has the best security network in Nigeria.

In his words: “Gov. Ikpeazu is proactive and a grassroot politician who understands the people, politics and the entire state. He has maintained a good relationship with the security structures of the state and always carries the opposition parties along.

This, he, attributed to the political stability and enabling business environment in the state, adding that it has made Abia attractive for investors.

 

He also commended the ongoing infrastructural development in every parts of the state, especially in Aba, where he noted that so many roads has been built, adding that those roads built with cement technology will stand the test of time.

 

The Ohafia-born politician further applauded Gov. Ikpeazu’s ingenuity on Small and Medium-sized Enterprise (SMEs) and Made-in-Aba campaign, which he disclosed have paved way for Abia, becoming the capital of SMEs in Nigeria as well as enhance the economic fortune of the state.

Ukpai maintained that Gov. Ikpeazu has made some innovative giant strides in health, education and agriculture, making cassava, rice, and mushroom value chains cynosure for other southeast states to follow.

 

The Deputy chief of staff to the Abia state Governor, who lauded Gov. Ikpeazu proactive approach in the management of Covid 19 in Abia, stated that more road infrastructure should be done in Aba, adding that if the commercial city is fixed, Abia is fixed.

 

He further called on Abians to be patient with the Abia state government, insisting that Gov. Ikpeazu has good intention for the state.
