Two English sides, Manchester United and Arsenal were defeated on match day two of the UEFA Champions League.
Playing at home, Manchester United led twice throught Rasmus Hojlund’s brace, but Galatasaray equalized through Zaha and Akturkoglu.
However, the dismissal of Casemiro in the 77th minute saw United crumble. Mauro Icardi scored the winner for the Turkish side in the 81st minute just three minutes after missing a penalty. United are now bottom in their group and they are the only team in Group A yet to get a point after two matches.
Arsenal were beaten 2-1 by Lens in France. The English side opened scoring through Gabriel Jesus, but the home side restored parity just after 11 minutes through Thomasson. Wahi scored the winner in the 69th minute.
In other results, Bayern Munich came from behind to beat FC Copenhagen 2-1 in Denmark as PSV and Sevilla settled their encounter 2-2.
Union Berlin lost at home 2-3 to Sporting Braga, the same score line with which Victor Osimhen and his Napoli team fall to 14 time champions, Real Madrid in the city of Naples.
RB Salzburg were beaten 2-0 at home by Real Sociedad as Inter Milan defeated visiting Benfica by a lone goal.
