U-20 WORLD CUP: Flying Eagles Crush Qatar

The Flying Eagles of Nigeria kicked off their U-20 World Cup campaign in the best possible way, thrashing Qatar 4-0 at the Tychy Stadium.

The Flying Eagles scored two goals in each half. Maxwell Effiom opened scoring on the 12^th minute. Okechukwu Offia doubled Nigeria’s lead on the 24^th minute.

After the break, Ayotomiwa Dele-Bashiru scored the third goal on the 68^th minute before Aliu Salawudeen put the icing on the cake on the 74^th minute.

The Flying Eagles will confront United States of America in their second match on Wednesday.
