Two individuals were injured in an accident near the Lagos State Traffic Management Authority (LASTMA) headquarters.
In a statement released on Wednesday, the agency reported that the incident occurred when a bus suffered brake failure.
“We just recorded a sad incident Infront of LASTMA HQ inward Oshodi Oke on Apapa Oshodi Exp way.” the statement read.
A commercial vehicle, whose brakes failed, collided with a culvert. The two injured victims are being transported to a nearby hospital.
Additionally, LASTMA officials have been deployed to the scene to manage the situation and alleviate the resulting traffic congestion.
