A close ally to the APC chief who pleaded anonymity told our correspondent that among other issues why he(Ukasoanya) is leaving APC was the malhandling of the party’s administration by the chairman of the party in the state, Hon. Donatus Nwamkpa whom he accused of working with former Governor Orji Uzor Kalu and his PPA cohorts in APC to hijack the party ahead of 2019 election.

According to his Ally,” Chief Ukasoanya has interest of the party at heart but certain elements have commissioned themselves to hijack the party ahead of 2019 election”.

“There is nothing wrong if Ukasoanya joins PDP. Because what is currently playing out in APC now, shows that some people are on a mission to pocket and destabilize the party”.

“Looking at APC in Abia, you would realize that is made up of strange bedfellows, who have corruptly benefited in the looting of Public funds. Imagine, the committee cannot hold rally. It shows the party is heading disintegration”.
