Theft In Broad Day Light

As if there was no law and order in the society, the residents, market men and women of 7up junction/bible college road, Umuelendu woke up with a shout of help from an unknown female voice with cuts and bruises on her lips who narrated to passers-by that a group of 3 boys waylaid her on the road and collected her 2 handsets (cell phones) and ₦27,000 (Twenty Seven Thousand Naira) which she was taking for shopping that morning.
The bruises she sustained on her lips and hands were as a result of the struggle she had with the boys of which one of them was her younger brother.
As a result, good neighbors went for a search with the lady around the neighborhood.
Not up to a three minutes walking distance, the lady spotted a member of the gang that tricked her of her belongings, the boy immediately took to his heels as he saw the group running towards him, the thief took a sharp right turn which unknown to him sent him into the hands of another group pursuing him.
The angry mob, including a tricycle operator (Keke) he wanted to steal his tricycle and run off, almost killed him, if not for the quick intervention of the police.
The molested woman begged the angry mob to leave him, that all she wanted was her money and cell phones. The commotion ensued until the Nigerian Police Force  of the Glass Industry Station came and apprehended the culprit.
