The Era Of Bad Leadership Is Gone In ONELGA Says Dr Ogu

A frontline chairmanship aspirant in Ogba/Egbema/Ndoni Local Government Area, Dr. Kingsley Ogu, announced during his town hall meetings with the people of Egbema and Ndoni on Wednesday that the era of bad governance in the LGA is over.

Dr. Ogu, the ONELGA chairmanship hopeful, is passionately changing the narrative from relying on godfather endorsements to gaining the confidence and endorsement of the people for his chairmanship bid.

Dr. Kingsley Ogu flanked by his supporters at the event recently in Rivers State.

The consultation, which took him to three political wards of Ndoni and two political wards of Egbema, witnessed a huge turnout of grassroots people. He held town meetings with stakeholders to discuss the way forward for the people of Ogba/Egbema/Ndoni Local Government Area.

Emphasizing his intentions and passion for a better and more prosperous LGA, Dr. Ogu expressed his displeasure with the deteriorating state of infrastructure and basic amenities in the communities. He urged the people to liberate themselves from political slavery and strangulation. He said, “The era of strongman politics is gone. We need brave and brilliant leaders who will get results for ONELGA people and 100% for the governor. Our target is to bridge the gap between the rich and the poor.”

Dr. Ogu revealed that the good people of Ogba-Egbema-Ndoni cannot afford to miss this opportunity to have a leader with character and integrity to manage the affairs of the council, rather than politicians who would take ONELGA back to the days of insecurity and set a bad example for the youth. He reiterated that he is more concerned with the people benefiting from the dividends of democracy because ONELGA deserves it.

The event, held simultaneously at Ndoni and Aggah in Egbema, was graced with the blessings of community chiefs, elders, women, and youths, who held special prayers for their convener.
