A former Minority Whip/member who represented Arochukwu State Constituency in the Abia State House of Assembly, Hon. Dr. Mike Ukoha, has been sworn in as the board member representing the South East geo-political zone, on the board of South West Development Commission (SWDC).
Speaking with newsmen shortly after the inauguration in Abuja, Hon. Ukoha, lauded President Bola Tinubu for finding him worthy to occupy such a position, expressing confidence in his new role.
He acknowledged the huge task ahead and reiterated his determination to keying into the Renewed Hope vision of President Tinubu, to better the lots of Nigerians.
The Southeast representative used the opportunity to assure people of the Southeast of his resolve to always pursue goals that will be in their interest.
Hon. Ukoha expressed his deepest appreciation to the Deputy Speaker House of Representatives Rt. Hon. Benjamin Okezie Kalu, CFR, for facilitating the appointment and his commitment towards a better Nigeria, promising never to disappoint.
He thanked all those who honored his invitation with their presence and also for their commitment, love and support, before, during and after the inauguration and prayed God to bless them.
It would be recalled that President Bola Ahmed Tinubu (GCFR), appointed Hon. Ukoha as the South East reps on the board of SWDC, alongside other appointees, on May 9th, 2025.
