‘Support Gov Otti-led Administration’ – Sen Nwokocha Tells Abia Women

The Senator representing Abia Central Senatorial District, Chief Darlington Nwokocha has called on Abia women to be patient and support Dr. Alex Otti led administration in Abia state.

Fielding questions from newsmen in Umuahia Abia state recently, Senator Nwokocha revealed that being a guest at the just concluded Abia Women August Delegate Conference has given him the opportunity to evaluate the yearnings of Abia people to move the state forward.

He said that women are indispensable in the area of leadership.

“They lead in the church, in the family and the community and therefore should not be neglected in appointments when it comes to governance”, he added.

Nwokocha further disclosed that Governor Alex Otti is taking a holistic approach to lay good foundation of governance and at the same time confronting myriad of issues holding the state backward.

In his words: “I am here to support the Governor and his wife to develop the state and also to announce to Abians that the era of Abuja politicians and Abia politicians are gone. We are here to work as a team, provide good leadership, entrench dividends of democracy and truly make Abia the number one state that it deserves”.
