All is not well in on-air personality Stephanie Coker’s home.
Her property developer husband, Olumide Aderinokun, has been arrested and arraigned on an eight-count charge before Igbosere Magistrate Covert alongside Balogun Adeniyi Abdul-Wakil, a staff of the New Town Development Authority (NTDA), for alleged conspiracy, forgery and for selling a piece land deceptively.
In one of the charges read against him, Aderinokun allegedly “converted a piece of land … situated at Plot 7B, Block CBD.1, Lekki Peninsula Scheme 1, Eti Osa Local Government Area of Lagos State, property of Ocean Trust Limited” for his use. Meanwhile, the land originally belongs to Mr and Mrs Ben Oyekunle.
Also, sometime around February 2016, Aderinokun allegedly connived with who some people who have absconded to collect the sum of N18 million from one Mrs Jumoke Fola-Alade, claiming to be the owner of the property.
In another count charge, Aderinokun and Abdul-Wakil, and the others allegedly forged a Deed of Assignment document and submitted it for registration at the Lagos State Land Registry, Alausa, Ikeja around the 3rd of March, 2012.
They both pleaded not guilty to the charges. The Chief magistrate Olufolake Oshin said both parties be remanded in Kirikiri Maximum Security Prison until they meet the bail conditions of N10 million naira each, submit their international passports and provide two sureties.
The case has been adjourned to the second of February 2018 for trail.
Adenorikun is the brother of late founder of Guaranty Trust Bank (GTB), Tayo Adenirokun. His wedding to Stephanie Coker was one of the most talked about weddings this year.
