Stakeholders Urges RSG To Invest In The Entertainment Industry

In order to provide an atmosphere where young people may develop their abilities, certain Rivers State stakeholders are urging the state government to make investments in the entertainment sector.

This was said at the “The Bonny Has Talent Show, 2023” unveiling and media launch in Port Harcourt.

Mrs. Tammy Clarizer Abusi, the event’s convener and executive producer, said the program will provide an environment where young people may develop their talents.

The Bonny Has Talent Show initiative is the chance and platform that will build an enabling and support system for the youth in our community, providing them with the resources they need to achieve. Investing in our hope is equally as important as investing in our future.

“Investing in our hope is just as important as investing in our future. Every young person in our community needs to have their potential invested in, she said.

The show, according to Abusi, will also give young people access to professional prospects, mentorship, training in personality values, and the skills and experience they need to find employment and create a better future for themselves and their families.

“Our community’s young people will be its future entrepreneurs, leaders, and innovators. Our success depends on them, she said.

She made an appeal for everyone’s help to make the program a success.

I beg you to help us in this endeavor in order to create a better planet for future generations, she said.

Lady Ibitoru Green, a.k.a. “Lady IB,” also spoke and asked the government to support Rivers State’s entertainment sector.

She claimed that the enormous industry had the potential to give young people in the state millions of new employment.

IB, a former state chairman and current national official of the Performing Musicians Association of Nigeria, stated that although the event is beginning in Bonny, attempts will be made to take it throughout the state.

She also urged the Bonny people to come together.

Barrister T. D. Jamaica, the program’s legal adviser, stated that the goal of the initiative is to prevent adolescents from engaging in any kind of criminal activity.

Jamaica announced that the event would be broadcast outside of Bonny, in other areas of Rivers State and in Nigeria.

He claimed that for it to succeed, support from the public and the government are now both necessary.

Dr. Emmanuel Nwabrije, a communication specialist who also spoke, claimed that the event will provide young people in Bonny the chance to cultivate their innate talents.

Dr. Nwabrije argued that a lack of opportunities for personal growth is the root of a lot of young people’s idleness and he asked the event’s organizers to make sure that it is spread all over the state rather than ending in Bonny.
