SSG Urges Ndi Ojiugwo Abam to Uphold Peace and Unity

 

The Secretary to the Abia State Government (SSG), Professor Kenneth Kalu, has called on the people of Ndi Ojiugwo Abam in Arochukwu Local Government Area to remain steadfast in promoting peace and unity within their community.

Professor Kalu made the appeal while receiving a delegation from the Council of Elders of Ndi Ojiugwo Abam, who paid him a courtesy visit at his office in Umuahia. He emphasized that peace is a fundamental prerequisite for sustainable development and assured the delegation that their concerns and requests would be thoroughly considered.

He thanked the community leaders for their show of goodwill and reaffirmed the government’s commitment to inclusive governance and grassroots development, stating that no community would be left behind in the administration’s rebuilding agenda.

Speaking on behalf of the delegation, the President-General of Ndi Ojiugwo Abam, Mr. Ikwan Ebe Nka, who spoke through Mr. Oko Ironua, said the visit was to commend Governor Dr. Alex Otti for his impressive developmental strides across the state. He also congratulated Professor Kalu on his appointment as SSG.

Mr. Ebe Nka pledged the community’s continued support and cooperation with the state government, expressing confidence in its vision for the progress and transformation of Abia State.
