Showcasing Rich Tourist Sites In Abia Is Our Priority – Atulomah

The General Manager of Abia State Tourism Board, Queen Onyekachi Atuloma Jackie has disclosed that the tourism board would continue to showcase the rich tourist site Abia is known for.


Speaking when the founder of Onyinye Ohuhu Foundation, High Chief Raymond Onyinyechi Ofoegbu visited her office in Umuahia, Queen Atulomah passionately called on well to do in the society to assist the state government to develop some of the moribund tourist sites as government cannot do it alone.

She also called on individuals, Corporate Bodies and Abia residents in general to always patronize made in Abia products especially Akwuete Garment.

Queen Atulomah further disclosed that the Governor, Dr. Okezie Ikpeazu has done really well in promoting made in Abia product to the world .

Speaking Earlier, High Chief Raymond Onyeinyechi Ofoegbu commended the State Governor Dr. Okezie Ikpeazu for appointing Queen Atuloma as General Manager of the State Tourism Board, having done well as Senior Special Adviser on Tourism and Entertainment.

Ofoegbu who drew the attention to the perceived extinction of Igbo culture and tradition, advised that all hands to be on deck to protect and protect “Our cultural heritage and recreation”.

While congratulating Queen Atulomah on her new appointment, High Chief Ofoegbu urged the staff of tourism board to assist their New GM to succeed in the office, even as he prayed God to help her excel.
