SEPTEMBER FIFA RANKINGS: Africa’s Top Ten Teams

The Super Eagles of Nigeria are Africa’s third best team and 34^th in the world dropping one place from their last month’s position. They had only one additional point from the 1481 they had last month.

Senegal remains first in Africa and 20^th in the world while Tunisia is second with 1493 points.

African champions, Algeria are fourth after moving up two places. The Atlas Lions are fifth in Africa and 39^th in the world after moving up two places.

Egypt are sixth and 59^th in the world after they failed to get any additional point this month.

Ghana, Cameroon, DR Congo and Cote d’Ivoire complete Africa’s top ten in that order.
