It was a moment of joy and celebration as friends and well wishers of the Senator representing Abia Central at the Senate and former Governor of Abia State, His Excellency, Senator Theodore Ahamefule Orji, gathered at Abia Hotels ,Finbarrs Road, Umuahia to celebrate his birthday
Speaking at the get- together hosted by him, the Commissioner for Housing in Abia State, Elder Chinagorom Nwankpa, said the gathering was to thank God for showing His unending blessings and Grace to Senator Orji.
According to Nwankpa, God’s benevolence on Senator Orji was exceptional as He has seen him through the tough times and challenges of life, adding that Senator Orji has never left anyone in doubt of God’s goodness as he has provided leadership, lifted many out of poverty through his empowerment programmes, among other things.
Nwankpa described Senator T.A Orji as equity keeping Senator, urbane, sagacious leader, human empowerment and people-oriented Senator.
Elder Nwankpa, thanked all who came to the get-together for making out time from their busy schedule to celebrate the people’s Senator, adding that their presence made the celebration a huge success
Nwankpa prayed God to continue to grant Senator Orji more fruitful years full of wisdom of Solomon of the Old with good health.
Earlier in his speech Sir Frank Ibe appreciated God for adding another fruitful year to Senator Theodore Orji and congratulated him on his new age, while praying for God’s continued blessings, favour and grace upon Senator Orji.
In a vote of thanks, the former Labour leader in Abia State and former T.C Chairman of Umuahia North Local Government, Chief Lucky Akabuike thanked Elder Chinagorom Nwankpa for his benevolence and show of solidarity by hosting the get-together and those who come for the birthday party , while praying God to replenish Elder Chinagorom Nwankpa.
The celebration featured prayer session for God’s continued protect on Senator Orji , entertainment of guest to a sumptuous meal and cutting of birthday Cake.
