It was a scene of glitz and glamour today as Mr Chiemeka Theodore Orji,the younger son of the Ex Governor of Abia State and Senator representing the Abia Central Senatorial District, Senator T.A Orji,tied the knot traditionally with his Ikwerre Princess, Miss Oroma Amadi,a native of Isiokpo,Ikwerre Local Government Area of Rivers state.
The event which was well attended by top government officials from Abia and Rivers states,took place at the popular Ikwerre Local Government Council Headquarters,Isiokpo, Rivers State.
In attendance were,the Executive Governor of Rivers State, Chief Nyesom Ezenwo Wike,the Deputy Governor of Abia State,Rt.Hon Sir Ude Oko Chukwu, the Speaker of the Abia State House of Assembly and elder brother to the groom,Rt.Hon Engr.Chinedum Enyinnaya Orji,Senator Mao Ohuabunwa,the Member representing,Arochukwu/Ohafia Federal Constituency,Hon.Uko Nkole,the Honourable Member representing Isiala Ngwa North and South Federal Constituency,Hon Darlington Nwokocha,the Deputy Speaker of the Abia State House of Assembly,Rt.Hon Ifeanyi Francis Uchendu,the State Chairman of the PDP in Abia State and his dear wife,Rt.Hon Dr and Barr(Mrs) Alwell Asiforo Okere,the Chief of Staff to Abia State Governor,Ass.Prof. Dr ACB Agbazuere, other members of the Abia State House of Assembly including;Hon, Godwin Adiele,Hon Jerry Uzosike,Hon Aaron Uzodike, Traditional rulers of Ikwerre land,Local Government Chairman of Ikwerre, Clergymen, including the Lead pastor of Streams of Joy International, Pastor Jerry Eze.
The nuptial ceremony would be on the 7th of April in Umuahia,Abia state.
No doubt marriage is a beautiful thing,as former Miss Oroma Amadi,who is also a younger sister to Chief Mrs Nice Alamieyeseigha, has become an “Ibeku Woman”, married into a first class family in Abia State.
