Selfless Services: Amaba-ukwu Development Union Women’s wing honours Ezinne Chief Mrs Elizabeth Ogele with Mama ukwu award.
In recognition of her contribution towards the development of Amaba- Ukwu community and Amaba-ukwu Development Union, Women’s wing, Ezinne Chief Mrs Elizabeth Ogele, thursday, received “Mama ukwu” Amaba-ukwu Amaokwe Item. meritous award.
Presenting the award to Ezinne Chief Mrs Elizabeth Ogele during their August Women Conference held at Amaba- Ukwu Square Ground,the National President of Amaba-ukwu Development Union,Women’s wing , Eziada Mary Issac Udeala, appreciated the award recipient for contributing to human and infrastructural development of Amaba-Ukwu community, Amaba-ukwu Development Union,Women’s wing, both in Amaokwe Item and the National body in general.
Eziada Udeala further explained that the meritous award was in recognition of her distinctive contribution towards the growth of the Association and Amaba-ukwu Development Union.
Responding, the award recipient, Ezinne Chief Mrs Elizabeth Ogele, described Amaba- ukwu as a great community and thanked the Amaba- ukwu women’s wing for rewarding her.
While recalling with nostalgia, the role She and her contemporary played in initiating the annual women’s wing conference and having been a one time chairman of the organization, Ezinne Chief Mrs Elizabeth Ogele passionately appealed to the young married women, who are yet to join the Association to do so.
