Proprietor of an Umuahia based Security outfit, Trustlink Guards and Dogs Institute, Elder Chukwunazom Cyra Obi, has advised Nigerians against self-centeredness.
Responding after receiving the award of “Ambassador of Peace and Reconciliation” from the Advanced Peace and Reconciliation Center of Nigeria, Amb. Obi harped on the need for Nigerians to guide against operating on self-centered basis in pursuit of their vision as they may not come to realize who may be watching their trends.
He said the recognition came as a result of selfless service to the Society, adding, “I believe my operations speaks for itself and that is what motivated this award.
“This award will spur me to do more in the protection of lives and property. I always pray God to help me touch lives positively to His glory.
Earlier in her speech before the presentation of the award, the National President of Advanced Peace and Reconciliation Center of Nigeria in partnership with Security and Forensic studies Nigeria, Dr. Mrs Joy Mgbeken reminded Nigerians on the need to promote, protect and safeguard the rights, interests, property and lives of others
Represented by Comrade Udofia Samuel, the State Director of Security and Forensic studies Nigeria, Mgbeken pointed out that Amb. Obi has conducted himself in an exemplary manner, working in difficult and often dangerous conditions, in a bid to fulfill his mission of providing public/private security.
She said based on Amb. Obi’s mission of peace in the society, his name has been enlisted as a senior citizen of Nigeria.
“We carefully looked into Ambassador. Obi’s profile and observed he has secured lives and property both in Nigeria and the outside world. We observed that he has traveled outside Nigeria to settle disputes and restore peace. He is a peacemaker and a voice to the voiceless”.
