Scorecard: Hon Ukoha Outlines His Achievements To Mark 2 Years In Office

It is exactly two years since the Minority Whip/member representing Arochukwu State Constituency, Abia House of Assembly, Hon. Dr. Mike Ukoha, assumed his seat on the floor of the chamber.

Below are some of his achievements so far:

– He moved a motion of urgent public importance on Isu crisis with Biase and Ukwa people of Cross River State.

– He facilitated the provision of Relief Materials by NEMA/SEMA worth millions of naira to the internally displaced persons of Isu Community.

– He led a delegation of members of Abia House of Assembly to Calaber, Cross River State on a peace meeting with State Deputy Governor over the issues between Isu community and their neighboring Utuma/Ukwa clans.

– He held Town Hall meetings with constituents in Arochukwu LGA.

– He moved a motion of urgent public importance on the killing and beheading of an Aro youth.

– He provided relief materials, mattresses, blankets etc to the displaced persons of Ugbo village in Arochukwu.

– He facilitated/built a 4 Class Rooms Block and office at Aggrey Primary School, Ibom, Arochukwu.

– He facilitated/built a 4 Class Rooms Block and office at Mary Slessor Primary School (Arochukwu Town School).

– He provided various form of palliative to the women group, Arochukwu LGA, Traditional Rulers, stakeholders, CAN, Indigent women etc during the heat of COVID 19 pandemic.

– He offered Free Medical Mission for his constituents in partnership with All Aro USA Medical Center.

– He organized a Football Competition for the youths in the LGA.

– He moved a motion of urgent public importance on the security situation in Arochukwu LGA.

– He graded the Isu Community Access Roads which have been in a deplorable condition for years.

– He financed the external renovation of the Presbyterian Church Ndi Agwu, Abam.

– He organized/sponsored a talk of the town Youths Conference in Arochukwu LGA.

– He has facilitated the admission of students from his constituency into various tertiary institutions in Nigeria.

– Rehabilitation of proposed Central School Amaeke Abam Computer Centre.

– Facilitated the training of Arochukwu Indigenes in various skills by Aros in Diaspora.

– He facilitated World Bank Assistance Projects from Abia CSDP for Arochukwu LGA.

– He has organized three consecutive Financial Management Training across the LGA.

– He offered Free JAMB preparatory classes to intending University seekers across Arochukwu LGA.

– He provided financial assistance to victims/store owners who lost their businesses due to fire outbreak in Arochukwu.

– Some of his constituents have benefited in NIRSAL Bank COVID Loan.

– He provided financial facilities for members of Amuvi Udah Multipurpose Cooperative in Arochukwu who are into agriculture.
