Rivers Women Unite for Sim (RWUS) Organisation mourns the tragic and painful death of Dr Herbert Wigwe, his wife, Chizoba and son, Chizi in a helicopter crash in the United States.
They described the death as a huge loss to Rivers State, considering the fact that Late Dr Wigwe has not only carved a niche for himself as a pre-eminent banker of repute but also as a community leader in Rivers State, who has greatly impacted the lives of many Rivers people, through his philanthropic and leadership programmes. His foray into education, culminating in the establishment of the world class Wigwe University in Isiokpo is legendary.
The group assured the bereaved family of her love and support as well as the prayers of Rivers Women at this time of grief.
They prayed that the departed souls find eternal rest in God’s bossom, noting that Dr Wigwe’s legacies will live on through the lives he impacted upon and the many wonderful things he did while alive.
RWUS is a gathering of Rivers Women that are very concerned about the peace, wellbeing, growth, and development of Rivers State.
