Rotary President becomes a commissioner in Abia

 

Barely two weeks he was installed as the 35th President of Rotary club of Umuahia central district 9142, Prince Dan Okoli among other 23 commissioner nominees was sworn in as the first commissioner for the Ministry of Homeland Security.

Prince Dan Okoli in recent time has been recording great feat in his career, not forgetting his national award as the best Local Government Chairman in the federation

Speaking to National Ambassador Political reporter, shortly after he was sworn in, said even though he had not toe the security line before, expressed optimism over the decision of the governor.

According to him, maybe the Governor saw the potential in him, to have put him in charge of a brand new Ministry.

He said he feels happy and challenged at the same time, knowing fully well that matters of community security was an all important one.

Prince Okoli called on Abians to make every information that would help his Ministry record success available, adding that he would operate an open door policy as security is everyone’s business.

While appreciating the Governor for finding an Umunneochi born to pilot a tear rubber ministry, urged all hands to be on deck to achieve a safe Abia as he is ready to collaborate with other Eastern states to make Abia conducive.
