The Rivers State Government, through its Flood Prevention and Management Committee, has commenced post-flood intervention across the affected Local Government Areas to give a new lease of life to people impacted by flooding in the Orashi Region of the State.

Speaking during the distribution of essential items to the flood-impacted two hundred (200) households from Abua Odual, Ahoada East, Ahoada West, and Ogba/Egbema/Ndoni Local Government Areas, the Chairman of the Committee, Deputy Governor, Prof. Ngozi Nma Odu, stressed her three approaches to tackling the flood menace.
