Rivers: NDYM Endorses Ogu For ONELGA Chairmanship

Reactions have continued to trail the recent Electoral Guidelines released by the Rivers State Independent Electoral Commission (RSIEC) as Niger Delta Youth Movement (NDYM) has unanimously decided to back Dr. Kingsley Ogu for the Chairmanship of Ogba/Egbema/Ndoni Local Government Area.

Expressing their support, the state coordinator of Nigeria Delta Youth Movement Cmr. Ernest Obara said the group pledged unwavering commitment to Dr. Kingsley Ogu’s vision and resilience through every challenge.

Obara declared that the crucial decision came after a thorough assessment of Dr. Ogu’s character, credentials, and ambitious development plans for Ogba Egbema Ndoni LGA, urging all well-meaning residents of ONELGA to support Dr. Ogu’s vision for a brighter and more prosperous Local Government Area.

Declaring their endorsement during a meeting themed *”KINGSLEY RESOLUTION: THE ONLY WAY TO SAVE ONELGA.”* Obara stated, “Following our deliberations, we have chosen Dr. Kingsley Ogu as our sole candidate for the upcoming local government election. His contributions, including providing soft loans and grants to our youth and supporting various initiatives, speak volumes.”

“He is a disciplined, tested, and trusted comrade. We will rally other youth groups to give him full support in the upcoming election,” he added.

The high-powered congress included Dennis Ewudho Ahoada East Chairman of NDYM, Joseph Umegham Abua Chairman NDYM, Elder Reuben Actor Enyi Ahoada West Chairman NDYM, Progress Hezekiah Chairman IYC Ekpeye Eastern Zone, and many other youth leaders.
