Rivers Group Honours Tinubu with Star-Studded Football Fiesta

Ogbogu Town in Ogba-Egbema-Ndoni Local Government Area of Rivers State was agog as the Enforcers of Good Governance, a socio-political group, hosted a novelty football match in honour of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu.

The event, held at the country home of the group’s convener and Chief Enforcer, Dr. Kingsley Ogu, featured an entertaining face-off between the Enforcers Football Team and a select squad of Rivers State celebrities.

Represented by Mr. Promise Otto, Dr. Ogu described the match as a symbolic tribute to President Tinubu, lauding the administration’s policy direction aimed at building a more prosperous Nigeria. He also commended the President’s commitment to sports development nationwide.

According to Dr. Ogu, the novelty match was part of the group’s grassroots mobilisation drive to engage communities and rally support for President Tinubu’s 2027 re-election campaign.

On the field, the Enforcers side thrilled fans with a dominant display, defeating the Rivers Celebrities team 6–1 to the delight of spectators.
